Significant Professional or Academic Accomplishments:
“Ms. Francoise Sidime is a seven (7) year veteran of
the CSTEP program, she began her academic career as a sophomore
at the College of Staten Island obtaining a Bachelor’s
degree in Biology and a Masters in Neuroscience in the Fall
2011. Ms. Sidime is currently working on her PhD in Neuroscience
at the College of Staten Island and the CUNY Graduate Center
under the mentorship of Dr. Abdeslem El Idrissi. Her dissertation
topic is entitled “The behavioral effects of Di-n-butylphthalate
in Juvenile Mice." During her academic career, Francoise
has presented her research findings at numerous conferences
both locally and internationally. Among her achievements she
has obtained numerous scholarships/awards and conducted research
at the Johns Hopkins/Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore
and the LKH-Universitätsklinikum in Graz, Austria.”
Her passion to help others led her down a career path of behavioral
science.
