About this Event: The second annual STEP/CSTEP
College Fair took place in the Great Hall on the City College
of New York’s campus on Saturday, October 15, 2011.
The hall was filled with up to 60 tables filled with admission
recruiters and CSTEP coordinators to speak with local STEP
students about their respective colleges. More than 20 STEP
programs attended from the NYC region with approximately 650
students and another 100 parents attending the event. Most
parents took advantage of the workshops that were being offered
outside the hall. Ms. Thelma Mason of City College’s
Financial Aid conducted a financial aid workshop, while Paul
Anderson and Dr. Deborah Williams provided a thorough workshop
on the college admissions process.
