Science, Technology, Engineering
and Math Expo
May 21, 2011 @ the Harlem Armory
About this Event: A one day expo, designed
for youth and their families, featuring Science, Technology,
Engineering and Math (STEM) interactive activities and demonstrations.
Additionally, public school students (Pre-K-Grade 12) exhibit
their own STEM projects. From their experience, it is hoped
that students are inspired to take action: to get excited
about their science and math classes, sign up for STEM programs,
pursue a STEM college education, or talk with a new mentor.
The event was held in partnership between Manhattan’s
Community School District 5 and Morningside Area Alliance.
