Harrisville, Heuvelton
teachers recognized by Clarkson University

POTSDAM -- Teachers from Harrisville and
Heuvelton were recognized by Clarkson University recently
during its IMPETUS recognition dinner for teachers who have
coached in the program this year.
Special recognition was given to Nikki Taylor from Harrisville
Central School and Eric Barr from Heuvelton Central School
for their outstanding commitment and service.
IMPETUS stands for Integrated Math and Physics for Entry
to Undergraduate STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and
Mathematics).
Approximately 175 students from 11 school districts participated
in IMPETUS, which is funded by a New York State STEP (Science
& Technology Entry Program) grant.
